Oregon Wine Country

A girls getaway to Oregon should definitely include a visit to the state’s wine country. If you do not drink, you should still go; the vineyards are absolutely beautiful as are the valleys and villages that the vineyards are a part of. Following is a list of a few of the most well-loved vineyards in Oregon state.

.

The Willamette Valley
The Willamette Valley is perhaps one of the most famous in Oregon wine country. It is home to over four hundred wineries and many more wine shops. In addition, it is only a short drive from the state capitol, making a day tour well worth the time. If you would like to relax in the middle of the region, there are several inns, resorts, and hotels that you should definitely consider.

Youngberg Hill
Any girls vacation in Oregon would be incomplete without a visit to one of the Inns in the wine country. One of the most popular inns is the Youngberg Hill. This twenty-two-year-old inn and winery is the perfect place to take in everything that the Oregon countryside has to offer. Set in the 50-acre vineyard, the vineyard and winery is renowned for its award-winning Pinot Noir specialty wines. In addition to its own tasting rooms, there are around one hundred others within twenty minutes of the inn.

The Allison Inn
Another very well-known inn in Willamette Valley is The Allison Inn. In addition to its fantastic lodging quarters, the Inn also has an amazing spa that you and your girlfriends will love. With plenty of hiking trails, vineyards, a pool, spa, and sauna, there are plenty of activities for you all to engage in before heading to your rooms for a very peaceful nap.

The Wine Country Bed and Breakfast
In a beautifully secluded spot just forty-five minutes southwest of Portland lies a lovely little bed and breakfast inn called the Wine Country B & B. This little nine-suite inn is dedicated to your enjoyment and comfort in every little detail. For example, the bed linens are made of Egyptian cotton. According to many testimonials, the beds are amazing and some customers leave the inn to try to find out where they can purchase the same pillows for when they get back home. The breakfasts have received rave reviews from most guests, and the area is full of activities that are perfect for you and your gals. All in all, the Wine Country B & B is the perfect spot to spend the weekend with all of your best friends and enjoy some of the beautiful Willamette valley in Oregon wine country.

These three above inns are all delightful little spots in Oregon where you will be able to relax and enjoy down time with friends. They are each a place where you can either take the perfectly quiet nap you have always wished for or embark on a new adventure among the many vineyards in the area. Your girls getaway to Oregon would be fabulous if you spent it here!
